Self Manifested Reality (SMR)
You are creating your reality! And, good fortune has it that you have the power to dis-create and re-create that reality! SMR is an incredible tool that helps you easily discover the specific disempowerment areas in your subconscious that can be altered to bring you to the optimal level of empowerment.
This is the best FREE therapy tool out there!
SMR Theory
We recruit events, circumstances, and people to reflect for us that which we do to ourselves unconsciously.
Create your own reality
Like it or not, we create our own reality. The best part about that truth: you have the power to dis-create the parts of your reality that trigger you, and you have the power to build an empowered, esteemed, super-spectacular life.
Using the SMR tool, which I designed while studying consciousness as part of earning my Ph.D., you can take the triggers you experience and use them to find the exact spot in your unconscious where you are disempowering yourself.
The concept is simple, but for some, it may not be as easy to comprehend. It is best to start with the understanding that we recruit events, circumstances, and people to reflect for us that which we do to ourselves unconsciously.

Self Manifested Reality Exercise
Here I’ll walk you through the steps of SMR that will highlight where your disempowering victim lies in your unconscious. Once aware of how you are your own victim (ouch!), you have the opportunity to release your old patterns of sabotage to bring forward the power of you full force!
Step 1 – Finding your trigger sentence
Take out a notebook and think of a situation that triggers you in a negative way. Then identify the following:
a. The feeling (angry, frustrated, scared, upset) you have.
b. The event, circumstance (losing money, being late…) or the person (my mom, husband, etc) involved.
c. What transpired to upset you.
Then fill in the gaps in the sentence below:
I am so [feeling] that [event, circumstance or person] [what transpired to upset you].
Example 1: “I am so hurt that Christine negates my feelings.”
Example 2: “I am so frustrated that my boss criticizes everything I do.”
Nailing down what is really going on
The key here is to be able to find the nuance of what is truly upsetting you. For example, you don’t want to write a sentence that says:
“I am angry at Michael for cheating on me with Michelle.”
Clearly you are not upset at yourself for cheating on yourself with Michelle. But, if you write the sentence:
“I am upset at Michael for betraying me and picking another person over me.”
There will likely be a lot of resonance in the SMR sentence:
“I am upset that I betray myself and pick other people over me.”
Step 2 – Identifying your SMR
Now, anywhere in the sentence where you have listed an event, circumstance or person, exchange those words with the correct tense of “me, myself or I”.
Example 1: “I am so hurt that I negate my feelings.”
Example 2: “I am so frustrated that I criticize everything I do.”
There you have it, the Self Manifested Reality to shift your consciousness.

Step 3 – Integrating your new level of awareness
To help integrate this new level of awareness, write out the following sentence with your example:
I have recruited (event, circumstance, or person) to (what transpired) so that I can feel that pain of how I (what transpired) myself. To stop (event, circumstance or person) from triggering me, I must stop doing (what transpired) to myself. Thank you (event, circumstance, or person) for helping me heal what I was unconsciously doing to myself.
Example 1: “I have recruited Christine to negate my feelings so that I can feel the pain of how I unconsciously negate my feelings. To stop being triggered, I must stop negating my own feelings to myself. Thank you Christine for helping me heal what I was unconsciously doing to myself.”
Example 2: “I have recruited my boss to criticize everything I do so that I can feel that pain of how I criticize everything that I do. To stop my boss from triggering me, I must stop criticizing myself. Thank you boss for helping me heal what I was unconsciously doing to myself.
